What to Bring for your Fishing Charter or On-The-Water Training
To ensure you have the best experience on the water, here’s a list of items we recommend bringing along:
1. Florida Fishing License: Make sure you have a valid Florida freshwater fishing license.
2. Suncreen: The Florida sun can be instense, so protect yourself with a high-SPF sunscreen.
3. Hat and Sunglasses: A wide-brimmed hat and polarized sunglasses will help keep the sun out of your eyes and improve visibility on the water.
4. Appropriate Clothing: Wear light, breathable clothing. A long-sleeve shirt and pants can protect against sunburn. Don’t forget to bring a light jacket in case of cool mornings.
5. Rain Gear: Florida weather can be unpredictable, so it’s a good idea to bring a rain jacket or poncho.
6. Snacks and Drinks: Bring your favorite drinks. (No alcohol please) We will supply plenty of water to keep you hydrated. Also pack some snacks to keep your energy up during the day.
7. Camera/Phone: Capture memories of your day on the water and, of course, your big catch!
8. Personal Items: Any necessary medications or personal items you might need while on the water.
9. Fishing Gear (Optional): While all necessary fishing equipment is provided, feel free to bring your own rods, reels, or tackle if you prefer.

To ensure you have a top-notch experience on the water, we provide the following:
1. Fully Rigged 2022 Phoenix 21 PHX: You’ll be fishing from a state-of-the-art Phoenix 21 PHX bass boat, powered by a Mercury Pro XS 250 engine and equipped with top-of-the-line Lowrance Electronics.
2. Fishing Equipment: We provide high-quality rods, reels, and tackle. However, if you prefer to use your own gear, feel free to bring it along.
3. Life Jackets: Safety is a priority, so we supply life jackets for all passengers.
4. Ice: A cooler with ice is available on board to keep your drinks cold.
5. Safety Equipment: All additional safety gear is provided to ensure a secure and enjoyable time on the water.
6. Knowledge of the Best Fishing Spots: Mike’s extensive experience ensures that you’ll be guided to some of the best fishing spots on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes.
7. Photos of Your Catch: We’ll capture the moment and help you document your big catch with on-the-spot photos.
What to Bring Checklist
- Fishing License: Ensure you have a valid Florida fishing license. You can purchase it online or at a local bait shop.
- Dress for the Weather: Wear light, breathable clothing and pack layers for cooler mornings. Don’t forget your rain jacket!
- Bring Sun Protection: Sunglasses, sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and lip balm with SPF are essential to protect against the Florida sun.
- Pack Snacks and Water: Stay hydrated and energized with plenty of water and light snacks, especially for longer trips.
- Comfortable Footwear: Wear non-slip, comfortable shoes. You may be standing for extended periods while fishing.
- Camera or Smartphone: Capture your catch of the day with a camera or phone, but make sure it’s waterproof or in a protective case.
- Polarized Sunglasses: These will help you spot fish under the water surface and reduce glare, improving your fishing experience.
- Pack Light: Only bring essentials, as space on the boat is limited. The guide will provide all the necessary fishing gear.
